So to get started, the very first thing you have to do is to sign-up for Google Analytics.
So you have to go to the Google Analytics website.

Now after clicking on this link a sign-in page popup in your browser where you have to submit your Gmail ID.
Then click on the next button to continue this process.
After submitting your Gmail ID you will be prompted to another page.
This is the page where you will sign-up for the Google Analytics account.
Then click on the Start measuring button to continue the process.
After clicking the “start submitting” button, you will be prompted to another page where you will be asked to give your account name.
Here you can use your blog name and then click on the next button to continue the process.
After clicking the next button, you will be prompted to another page where you will be asked to choose one option between 3 options such as; web, apps, or apps, and web.
As a blogger, you need to click on the Web option which is the first one, and then click the next button.
Now another page will be prompted on your browser where you will be asked to enter your website name, website URL, Industry category, country, and time zone.
After submitting these details click on the create button to continue the process.
Then a popup page will open where presented with Google Analytics terms and service.
Here you need to agree with Google Analytics terms and services and click on the I Accept button.
After completing these steps you are presented with another page, where your website’s tracking ID and tracking code will appear.

But before getting started I want to share a little bit of information about MonsterInsights.

Now you have completed Google Analytics sign-up process.
And you need to install Google Analytics by MonsterInsights plug-in to get the benefits.
To install this plugin, go to your WordPress’s Dashboard.
Then click on the Plugins button.

Now you can see Search Plugins search box at the right corner where you need to enter Google Analytics by MonsterInsights.

After completing the installing process it shows a activate button and then click on the Activate button.
Now, this plugin is successfully installed, activated, and ready to use.
After completing the activation process a new label added to your WordPress admin menu named Insights.
Now you have to click on the Insights button and then MonsterInsights setup wizard opens.
Here you will be asked to choose a category of your website.
As you are a blogger you have to select on Publisher (Blog) options and then click on the Save and Continue button.
